This party not only made us think about our childhood days when we were allowed to drink the soda 7-up, but it made us so happy. This “7-up Lemon Lime” party for Safronia’s 7th birthday is so original, so cheerful and beautifully done. We love the bright yellow and green colors, antique furniture and accessories, unique games, photobooth and all the little DIY details {including the DIY lemonade stand by her dad}. It’s just too cute for words. It looks like a party to remember for Safronia.

Photo Booth Ideas
I’ve been a guest, maid of honor or planned a total of 6 weddings this summer and 3 out of 6 of them had a version of a photo booth. And, I loved them all. It’s a great way to capture your guests in their finest…or not so finest…poses. You never know what you’re going to see when the film is developed, but it brings out the fun in everyone.
Here are some snapshots from a old-fashioned photo booth at our friends wedding in San Diego. No props for this one…just a camera in a booth that brought out the silly in everyone. ShutterBooth or Booth 66 are great vendors to check out. The couple asked guests to take one strip of photos home and glue the other one in their guest book, along with a note.
This custom Amorology photo booth on Green Wedding Shoes served as a fantastic ambience, colorful backdrop for guests while they dined, and it was a fun and interactive activity for guests. Read here to learn more about the “wheel of fortune” on their photo booth, as well as cute props and decor.
DIY Photo Booths
With some plywood, wallpaper and frames {and a few other thing}, this photo booth is just darling.
I love the rustic feel of this photo booth from Style Me Pretty.
Vintage frames hung from a tree…this couple used it for an engagement photo session. Clever.
Ruffled Blog gives us a great how-to tutorial for a DIY photo booth.
Don’t forget all the fun props. Use Say Cheese Paper Props or buy your own treasure chest of hats, boas, glasses and more.
Jodi and Drew’s guests got into the snapshot action too. Crooked Willow Farms has a fantastic, built-in photo booth room with chests full of costumes and props.
