No, not Crate and Barrel {although I do love some of their things}. Just CRATES. I love this idea so much, it’s been added to my to do list…sorry honey {because knowing me, whether it be his helping hands or emotional support, my hubby will somehow be involved}. We could use some extra storage, and I love the vintage-feel of these crates.
Crates can serve as side tables and coffee tables too.
This vintage inspired crate-diy project from Hammers and High Heels is fantastic. Their how-to tips will have you hanging a vintage piece like this in no time {ok, some time}.
If you don’t need an entire shelving unit, make a couple to hold pretty pillows and throws. House of Smiths provide their own helpful tutorial to make these adorable crates.
And, if your getting married or just want a beautiful floral arrangement on your dining room table or anywhere in your home, these crates will add that shabby chic charm.

ohmygoodness!!! Those are adorable! I love all of those ideas! My very favorite is piece of artwork that is painted with “You are loved always”. I’ve been wanting to make something like that for a while now, but haven’t gotten to it yet. 🙂
