Jessica recently made a DIY Shelf inspired by the Teak Swing Shelf from one of our favorite stores, Anthropologie. It’s cute enough for her kids to want to swing on, but beautiful {and rustic} enough to hang in her home. Plus, it’s easy and affordable to make! We’re loving this Anthropologie hack.

Check out all the how-to details at Momtastic.

I’ve never lived by the water nor am I a boat person, but I ADORE all things nautical! There is something so crisp about the blue and white stripes and the clean look of the clothes and decor. just hitched

First I saw a Just Hitched sign on a newlywed couple’s reception chairs in Colorado Expression’s Confetti Magazine, then I found the one above {found at Bash, Please} and just knew I had to share it. It was love at first sight. Such a sweet, rustic touch to a wedding, and a charming decor item in a married couple’s home to remind them of their special day.

Green Wedding Shoes shares a wonderful tutorial on how to make a DIY rope sign here. You could make a just hitched sign, mr. and mrs. or whatever your heart or DIY-self desires.

crate and …

No, not Crate and Barrel {although I do love some of their things}. Just CRATES. I love this idea so much, it’s been added to my to do list…sorry honey {because knowing me, whether it be his helping hands or emotional support, my hubby will somehow be involved}. We could use some extra storage, and I love the vintage-feel of these crates.

Crates can serve as side tables and coffee tables too.

This vintage inspired crate-diy project from Hammers and High Heels is fantastic. Their how-to tips will have you hanging a vintage piece like this in no time {ok, some time}.

If you don’t need an entire shelving unit, make a couple to hold pretty pillows and throws. House of Smiths provide their own helpful tutorial to make these adorable crates.

And, if your getting married or just want a beautiful floral arrangement on your dining room table or anywhere in your home, these crates will add that shabby chic charm.
