winter white

Happy Fashion Friday!

Think that a white wardrobe has to end after labor day? No way Jose! As a matter of fact, white is my favorite wardrobe year round. Maybe not white jeans in the winter, but certainly white and off-white coats and sweaters – big fan! Looking forward to the change of season so that I can play with a change in wardrobe and pull out my winter whites 🙂

window display

Look at these gorgeous hanging antique window panes at weddings…omg!

I am a Mrs. now, so I can just daydream about wedding decor. But, I can incorporate an antique window pane in my home. I have one I bought years ago at an antique market that we just hung on our wall. It has great potential and I’m so excited about it. The dilemma is what exactly I should do with it. Here are the projects I’m contemplating.

One large photo behind the window pane. I just love this idea…

Individual pictures in window pane. I really like the look of all black and white photos.

Wallpaper window pane

Leave it as is and just hang on the wall.

What’s your vote? Leave a comment for me, or send me a new idea.
a. One large photo in the window pane
b. Individual photos in the window pane
c. Decorative wallpaper in the window pane
d. Leave the antique window pane as is

If you’re really crafty {I think these projects are above my DIY ability level right now}, these two window pane pieces are beautiful and unique…a coffee table and window pane wall divider.

crate and …

No, not Crate and Barrel {although I do love some of their things}. Just CRATES. I love this idea so much, it’s been added to my to do list…sorry honey {because knowing me, whether it be his helping hands or emotional support, my hubby will somehow be involved}. We could use some extra storage, and I love the vintage-feel of these crates.

Crates can serve as side tables and coffee tables too.

This vintage inspired crate-diy project from Hammers and High Heels is fantastic. Their how-to tips will have you hanging a vintage piece like this in no time {ok, some time}.

If you don’t need an entire shelving unit, make a couple to hold pretty pillows and throws. House of Smiths provide their own helpful tutorial to make these adorable crates.

And, if your getting married or just want a beautiful floral arrangement on your dining room table or anywhere in your home, these crates will add that shabby chic charm.
