meet…saddle shoe signs

You were first introduced to Saddle Shoe Signs with our latest Peppermint Wonderland photo shoot, and today we are going to introduce the company to you, and the fabulously talented Meredith Moran – the woman behind Saddle Shoe Signs. Yes, this is the same Meredith of Meredith Moran Photography. Not only is she a fantastic photographer, but she also makes the signs with her own two hands. We’ve  seen her work up close and personal…and they are beautifully handmade. In fact, we want some of our own!
Saddle Shoe Signs are vintage-inspired marquee lights.  Our signs are rented by the letter so customers can spell whatever they’d like, creating a custom sign perfect for their event,” Meredith said. “There are so many people out there buying “Eat, Drink & Be Married”, or ” I Do”  signs for their weddings, only to be stuck with the sign after the wedding (& we all hope there isn’t going to be another wedding!), or stuck with the hassle of giving it away, selling it, or just throwing it away.  How about the grand opening for your store or restaurant?  No need to be stuck with a “Grand Opening” sign after the “grand opening”.”
Rental prices are $35/letter for the first 2 letters, $25/letter after that. Outside of Denver, there is a minimum 3 letter rental, in addition to a mileage fee for traveling outside Denver. They deliver and install signs. All rental letters are red, but Meredith can make a letter in a different color for an additional fee.
For all you blissful brides out there, Meredith sweetened the deal. If you book her for your wedding, you can get a sign for free. Click here to see her portfolio.
Letters are also available for sale on Etsy {how cute would these letters be in a home…I can just see JOY on my mantle next Christmas}, and are made with heavier/high quality material. You have the option to choose from 20+ colors. Visit Saddle Shoe Designs on Etsy here.

Corkcicle for Wine

It’s another simple, fabulous and genius invention, and its one of those things that when you see it, you say to yourself, “Why didn’t I think of that?”

Introducing…Corkcicle.

The cork with an icicle attached to it that keeps wine perfectly chilled. Not too hot, and not too cold…just right! Once you drink one bottle, have another because you can re-use the Corkcicle over and over again after washing.

For businesses or brides, they offer a Corkcicles Custom line too.

As you may know, this made Oprah’s Favorite Things List this year, but I promise, it was one of our favorite things before we knew that Oprah was a fan too.

Being the vino lover that she is, Jenna has been carrying Corkcicle at Fleur de Lis, a paperie, for several months. Stop in to buy one in time for Christmas, or email her to order one.

We can tell you {and we love our vino, especially now that none of us our pregnant for the first time this year}, we’ve used it, it works and we love it.

Good news for all you Tutto Bella wine lovers…the kind folks over at Corkcicle are offering you a FREE Corkcicle Classic.

Grey and Pink Summer Wedding

In high school, I never imagined Shannon, my BFF, would be celebrating her marriage at her family’s home {which I once considered my second home in my teenage years} in the midst of tennis lessons, sleepovers, prom pictures and parties. I did, however, imagine {and knew}, she would marry her high school love, Bryan.

These two met so young, but grew as individuals and a couple throughout the years, traveled the world, made long distance work and waited until the time was right for them…and their wedding day was so magical.

I was lucky enough to stand by Shannon’s side as her maid of honor for her summer wedding. She planned a clean, modern and elegant wedding that was simply stunning…and so much fun for the nearly 300 guests.

The reception at Shannon’s parents home was the perfect setting. The fountain lit in pink and purple lights made for a grandiose entrance, the white draped, and carpeted tent was absolutely gorgeous, the color scheme of white, bright fuchsia and purple, and grey was eye-catching and sparkling crystal chandeliers were timeless and glamorous. Not to mention the beautiful Irish couple radiating love…and partying all night long {at their own barn-turned-Irish Pub post reception party}

Shannon and Bryan made their wedding day their own, and I was so honored to be a part of it…and share it with you today. Enjoy.

Yes, I was a nervous wreck for my MOH speech. Yes, I cried.

And, yes, I made them cry too.

The Best Men {brothers of the groom} followed my act, and were fantastic – both funny and emotional.

the knot feature…

I was lucky enough to be the Maid of Honor for my BFF Shannon last summer. It was a happy day for me to see her blissfully happy and say “I do” to the man of her dreams…and look stunning while doing it. The details, colors and design of the wedding was absolutely gorgeous. YOU get exclusive photos and details of the wedding next week {I’ve been waiting more than a year to share it with you}, but wanted to give you a sneak peek today.

Her wedding was recently featured in The Knot Colorado…how fun is that?

Not to take away attention from the bride…cuz it’s always ALL ABOUT THE BRIDE {as it should be for all brides on her wedding day}, but that’s me…the 4th one from the left in the top photo below.
