throw some glitter make it rain…

OK, so maybe I jinxed our weather by adding, “throw some glitter make it rain,” to the shower invitation {as it rained the entire evening of our festivities}, but the shower/bachelorette weekend was still a blast and time spent with the ladies was rejuvenating.

Lovely shower details included homemade Margarita’s so appropriately titled, Kimbaritas {after the bride, Kimi}, homemade appetizers, stiletto cupcakes, custom water bottles, CD favors and a kissing/lipstick activity {amongst others} that created pretty artwork for the bride to keep.

And sparkly bachelorette details included DIY sequins menu {sold here}, a gold sequins runner, DIY ribbon chair covers/decor and nail polish favors and place cards for each guest.

The pretty invite by Jenna at Fleur de Lis set the tone for a fabulous, sparkly party. Now available here.

sequin menu

I am just in love with this menu Jenna from Fleur de Lis made for our recent Bachelorette Bash for Kimi. All photos of the party {thanks to the talented photographer and bridesmaid Amy Forness Photo} to come. Wouldn’t eating be more fun and just overall fabulous if we all had sequins menus like this for every meal?

Jenna printed the menus, then I used Elmer’s Craft Glue to glue sequins to each menu…sequins starting heavy in the corner, then scattered. If you need a menu like this in the future, e-mail us at hello@jsorelle.com. We can do it for you.

little slugger baby shower

When you are a baby boy about to be born into a family like this, you’re probably going to be a baseball player… like it or not :-)

The soon-to-be daddy and his brother both played in the minor leagues. Together with their dad {who has his own hitting cage facility at his house I might add}, they now coach a very successful Lightning baseball program. I think it’s safe to say that Jackson Tucker or Carson James {they haven’t decided which name they will pick!} will be quite the baseball fanatic!

Fleur de Lis designed the adorable, baseball-themed labels for the shower {you can purchase it here}. Red, white and blue decor throughout the shower, and homemade baseball cake pops with crackerjacks filled the popcorn containers. How adorable!

Nichole and Michael are expecting their little slugger to arrive next month. We cannot wait to meet the little man!

etsy love: fleur de lis

Our go-to spot for stationery is of course, Fleur de Lis, but sometimes its hard to make it into the store, so we are grateful Fleur de Lis is on etsy. Jenna has designed some beautiful invites, and although not all are up yet {we are working on it}, there are some lovely, fun and creative designs posted. And, if you don’t see exactly what you’re looking for your next party, just send us an email at trejsorelle@gmail.com and for just $20 Jenna can design it. Whatever your pretty little, party planning heart contents.

I promise, I’m her most difficult customer. :) Seriously, I don’t think anyone is more picky and obsessive compulsive when it comes to my invites than me. Would you agree Jenna?? So, she would happily take orders from other people.

jackson’s debut

As you know, we welcomed a beautiful, new little man in our lives at the end of July. While we are adjusting to life at home with 3, it can be quite busy and stressful at times, but the priceless time of having a baby is fleeting and we are trying to take it all in. Yesterday, Jackson was smiling and cooing as I was talking to him, and I had tears of pure joy in my eyes. I was so incredibly happy as he looked at me with so much love and wonder. So, in light of my blissful {and sleep deprived} state, I wanted to share some pics of our family photo shoot back in August. The talented Meredith of Meredith Moran Photography, drove up from Denver to spend the day with us. After many poop stained blankets {during the naked shots, Jackson’s insides were definitely working}, and unsuccessful props {Jackson refused to sleep most of the shoot, especially posed in a cowboy boot and cowboy hat} Mer was able to capture some great shots. Here’s a sneak peek.

For those of you interested in a family photo session, Meredith is offering Tutto Bella readers $50 off a mini photo session. Just mention our blog, and you can schedule a 1.5 hour session {and cd of images} for only $99. And since its time to order holiday cards, once you get your adorable photos, call Jenna and Jodi at Fleur de Lis to order your holiday cards today. Even if you live out-of-state, they will design and/or find a card perfect for your family.  And, lucky you, Fleur de Lis, is offering 20% off all orders through the month of October.
