etsy love: fleur de lis

Our go-to spot for stationery is of course, Fleur de Lis, but sometimes its hard to make it into the store, so we are grateful Fleur de Lis is on etsy. Jenna has designed some beautiful invites, and although not all are up yet {we are working on it}, there are some lovely, fun and creative designs posted. And, if you don’t see exactly what you’re looking for your next party, just send us an email at trejsorelle@gmail.com and for just $20 Jenna can design it. Whatever your pretty little, party planning heart contents.

I promise, I’m her most difficult customer. 🙂 Seriously, I don’t think anyone is more picky and obsessive compulsive when it comes to my invites than me. Would you agree Jenna?? So, she would happily take orders from other people.

all you need is love

I always love when my beautiful friend Leigh calls me and says, “Jenna, I have a party idea … can you help me with invites, favors, and water bottle labels?!?” I love getting calls like this! Especially from Leigh, because I know when she throws a party, she does it right to the very last detail, and she does a beautiful job. It is so fun for me to be creative and help people plan a party with the papers they need to make it happen.
From the party planner and bride’s friend, Leigh:
Rachel and I have been best friends since our sophomore year of high school, so I was truly honored to host her shower, with the help of Liz and Kisa, and be a part of her upcoming wedding day. Since Rachel’s shower was only 2 days after valentine’s day, February 16, I thought I would do an ‘all you need is love’ theme for her.
We used design and paper from Fleur de Lis for the invite, water bottle labels, candy bag labels, gift bags (I had a ‘ring scratch’ game, and the 3 people who won received a bag from Fleur de Lis filled with napkins and a candle.
Guests enjoyed strawberry punch in mason jars, a mimosa bar (I didn’t take photos of that…ugh!), and brunch. I had each guest fill out the card about Rachel and  put them all in a book and presented it to her at the end of the shower. I ordered all her engagement photos for the shower and used frames from Michael’s and placed them throughout the house. Obviously, the candy station was the most fun.

Circus Party for Kids

May I just say, Tinsley is a lucky little lady to have a birthday party like this! And, her outfit was the icing on the cupcakes! Tinsley, does that dress come in my size? She’s simply adorable.

Her 4th birthday celebration was transformed into a magical circus complete with carnival games and prizes, animals, balloons, clowns and red stripes. The decor elements are just like the circus I remember as a kid – but this one is cuter!

If you loved going to the circus when you were a kid, these photos will bring a big smile to your face.

A big thank you to Scott James Photography for sharing the photos with us!

Book Theme Baby Shower

Baby showers are so special.
Down to the last detail, my shower was incredibly special.

My hubby’s aunt, sister and mimi threw me a beautiful, book themed baby shower. Instead of bringing a card to accompany their gift, each guest brought a book and signed it. Such a great idea! Who doesn’t love books? Now my little girl has a library of children’s books in her nursery, all signed with a loving message inside.

The tables were decorated after classic children’s books. Each table was its own book. There were handmade bookmarks that served as place settings, chevron ‘Baby Wishes’ for each guest to fill out for the mama-to-be next to the place setting and coordinating cake pops to match.
… and did you see the centerpieces?!

I hope you will enjoy the details of the baby shower as much as I did!
